Mode Descriptions
Linear shows the ladder diagram directly. Cyclic applies the complex exponential map to one cycle of the ladder diagram, wrapping it into a ring. Polar maps each throw to an orthogonal arc on a boundary circle. Dual-Branch Polar keeps left-hand throws on the inner branch and right-hand throws on a compressed outer branch. Spiral applies the complex exponential map with a logarithmic skew so repeated cycles continue outward.
